In over 1000 bariatric procedures, our practice has the rare distinction of having had no death and no conversation from laparoscopic to open approach at any time! This is rare distinction, and we continue to work very hard to maintain our pristine record. In our series of over 2000 laparoscopic hernia procedures, there has been no known incidence of mesh infection, chronic nerve pain, or other significant complications. Our recurrence rate after hernia repair remains at less than 0.5%.
Many factors are responsible for our success. They include superior surgical skills, a highly qualified team of providers and nurses, and Centers-of-Excellence facilities known for their superior quality and their latest technology and instrumentation.
Dr. Zaré's practice is a multi-disciplinary advanced laparoscopic surgery practice, dedicated to increasing patient access to minimally invasive solutions. With a rich tradition in surgery, our practice is dedicated to ensuring complete satisfaction of each individual. We have received every major award of distinction in healthcare including the prestigious "Center of Excellence" designation by the Surgical Review Corporation of the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery in recognition of our expertise in quality surgical care, Aexcel Status by Aetna, 3-star top rating by Cigna, 5-star top rating by Healthgrades, and most importantly the "Patient Choice" award by vitals.com every year since 2009 for excellence in clinical care given by patients to less than 6% of 720,000 active physicians nationwide.
