Our bariatric surgery practice and our two affiliated hospitals (Good Samaritan Hospital, San Jose, and El Camino Hospital, Mountain View) are all designated 'Centers of Excellence' and destinations of choice for bariatric surgical specialty. Our practice received its certificate of 'Center of Excellence' in 2011 for high level standards, quality and safety by American Society for Bariatric Surgery (ASBS) and Surgical Review Corporation (SRC). Established in 2004, the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery (ASMBS) Bariatric Surgery Center of Excellence (BSCOE) is an honor awarded to the surgeons and hospitals for their expertise in delivering quality specialty care and for the facilities at work.
